FELC Ministry Team

Pastor Tim is our Senior Pastor. He joined the pastoral team on May 1, 2006. Pastor Tim received his Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Service from Central College in Pella, IA, and Master of Divinity from Lutheran School of Theology in Chicago. The ministry is a second career for Pastor Tim, following 20 years of experience working with IBM and as president of Viking Printing and Coping in Chicago. Rev. Martin Ruge (Pastor Marty) came to First English in October 2005 and recently was named Permanent Supply Pastor. Pastor Marty has been in the ministry since 1966. Mary serves as coordinator of multiple Education programs and Servant Ministries.

Mary has over 20 years experience working with children and adult educational programs. Mary has a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and a Major in Christian Day School.
